| 2010-01-18 | Rob the Classic Arcade Hunter | Well, I went by Mission Beach to look for the arcade and found an arcade without classic games. Very nice new arcade though. |
| 2007-06-14 | Brian | well things have only gotten worse in the past few years since the last post. The do have Galaga, but the screen was fairly jacked. They have a few interesting games here like Final Fight, which you don't see in arcades too much, but they are all barely playable. Too bad it's a great location and the arcade has potential. If they spent a few dollars they could renovate it. Even the newer games were unimpressive. No wonder people ust keep playing DDR there since it's the only thing that seems to work. |
| 2005-02-03 | Eric | Tron was playable except for the light cycles (joystick would veer left/right when pressed up.) Paperboy uncontrollably drifted to the right. The Simpsons game was turned off and so is my overall interest in this arcade. |
| 2003-05-06 | Pacgirl | Family Fun my @$$! Please don't make the mistake of coming here just for the arcade games like I did.I'll tell you why. When I went there, about 80% of the games were broken.First of all, Tron's joystick was hard to move because it had sticky crap on the overlay. Race drivin's ignition did not start at all.Arkanoid's control panel overlay was completely sawed off, and I think someone just put it back on the game without fixing it.It figures because they had surfer kids working there. Also, About every single game had graffitti etched into their screens, and into the sides of the cabinets.Plus, this arcade was dirty, and there was a whole bunch of bums lurking around. It's not a bad arcade, but it just needs work.Fat boys pizza is right across the street and has games that are in good condition. So stop by there.
