2016-03-22Allen HuffmanCheck his Facebook page for updates on when he is open to the public. This is basically his personal collection he lets people play on when he is there. Do not expect a flash mall arcade - it is in an old main street building in this tiny town.
2014-03-23jimFinally got to check the place out. Big room, more games than expected. Check it out.
2013-03-27PatThis place is still up, running, and awesome! I went here today by appointment. Mike said he was usually free during the week and week nights. The available list of games is not complete. Some games are missing, but a lot of different ones are there. Mike was super nice and had a couple of his games on free to play as well. I recommend checking this place out.
2012-02-05BenNot open to the public. I am a volunteer currently working on restoring the building and cleaning up.. Our goal is to get it back to a point of being open to the public, but Mike is willing to set up appointments. Its quite a hike from nearest cities.
2011-09-26jeffhe is not closed, just open by appointment. i was there in august, and just this last weekend.
2011-08-27GamerzClosed.
2008-06-18AKBy appointment only due to flooding in the region. He will open anytime by appointment though. To schedule a time he said to call him at (319)558-6426 from 9am to 10pm daily.
2008-04-02markynice list! may need to head up that way on my next road trip! thanks for the info.
2008-02-02HAGYep, this place pretty much rules. Mike is a fun dude with a brain full of video game knowledge. He's open every Friday & Saturday 4-10 and by appointment. Amazing vintage games and some new ones too. Glad to finally show my kids what a real arcade looked like in my day. Not too many of these left. Bring a stack of $1 bills because that is all the change machine takes. Oh yea, he also has Stargate pinball. And make sure you pester him to bring out the Data East Star Wars pinball machine, I want to play that thing!
2008-01-28Richard GaborI purchased a Star Wars game from Mike and just picked it up this past Sunday (1/27/08). The game is everything I hoped it would be. Anyhow, as for this place, it is wonderful. Mike truly loves what he does and seems very knowledgeable. Although I live 4 hours from him, I plan on going back to spend more of my hard earned money. Mike's also willing to work out payment plans, too. That can come in handy. You definitely have to check this place out! It's not on the normal path but easy enough to find.
2008-01-11joelMapquest the town, it's tiny, but not far from I-80. Yahoo's search doesn't bring anything up. There are over 70 games there. About half are classics. I would call before going (319)664-3775. Best times to catch him are Friday and Saturday night 4-10pm.
2007-11-01SeanThe address is 117 South Main Street, North English. The owner (Mike O.) does all his own work so sometimes repairs take a while, but I have never been in and seen less than 40 games running. He will open by appointment almost anytime. Most games are immaculate. Check out his collection on VAPs. He has been slowly listing what he has in storage.
2007-11-01SeanHe actually had two there but they were removed at least a month or so ago. One was the Laser Disc one, but I think he said it was going to his house. The other was the old one and I think the monitor died so he got rid of it, or it's in his basement. He has a lot of newer games to, but not the ones you see everywhere.
2007-06-22leslie collinsis the cobracomand the laser disc one ihope so
