This was added sometime between 2004 and 2008, I'm not sure exactly when because it had been that long between times I was last at the airport. From the airport upstairs, just keep going forward a few yards, and you will find it on your left. Like the rest of the arcades, this one has a Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga Class of '81 machine, but it also has an oversized 1942 machine that was obviously converted from a different machine. The joystick wasn't completely responsive and the sound didn't work, but it was still fun to play, as I'd not seen 1942 in an arcade in almost 20 years. |

It was just Millipede, not a combo machine that I could tell. I don't know if I just missed the Ms. Pac-Man machine or what, since I had gotten off a plane into Minneapolis and not walked straight into the airport, but there were enough games to pass the time for me, even during a 6 hour layover. |

The Hang On game, and one of the Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga games (they have two of them) are found in one of the Northwest Airlines gates. 1943, After Burner, and Double Axle are found in a small game room, and the Centipede/Millipede/Missle Command combo game, and another Ms. Pac-Man Galaga combo are found in another small game room. I can't remember seeing a Ms. Pac-Man game here (although I very well could've missed it, since there very well could be more arcade games in this airport that I could've missed) They have quite a few good new games here too, so at least the games here give you a good way to kill time if you're waiting long for a flight. It would help if they were all in one place though. |
